Artist's Comments

This piece is part of the limbo space in time, between My " Vertical Horizon " series that (until my next piece) I believe I'm still in ,& the Abstaction of Landscape (East Coast Style) series that I brought w/ me here & was the movement of th first 16SF paintings. Its an interesting piece because you can see the change, the stuggle to explore somthing that was new inside of me. A part of commming to gripps w/ a change of ballance is remembering what U used to hold onto so dearly, somthing that was sinominous(sp?), to the outsider, of who U are. To me this was The Square, its shape was signature to my work. As well as a soft fanning or pushing of the pigment across the canvas that cullminates in a straight line. So I used these old, safe, tricks again. But this time introducing them to some of the new unstable characters that I've been hanging out w/ ....................
.....................so there it is. A new birth , awkward & unique.
