Artist's Comments

This, possably, is the most successful, or at least the most blatent example of what I was trying to acheive at that time....the simplification of the landscape. How to build the feeling of a place without any cliche' aspects of landscape. At the time (living in Pennsylvania) the fundamentles of a landscape were this,... A Walking Plane,...Two Uprights to pass through,... & an Airy top. Add some line work for object depth ( and signature style marks),...and Boom.
This piece was featured in my "Farwell Pittsburgh" show at BOXHEART Gallery, 2004.

ps: in the foreground on the right I added a vase or vessle. Which harkens back to a quest I also had to break down the fundimentles of Still Lifes.

very sexual. the blue line that is. and the face on the end of her foot requires some thought, but I have an idea were that comes from.
"the way out comes but once" would have been a good title for this.

these paintings remind me of the artistic elements used in the movie Punch Drunk Love and in the DVDs case design, I dunno who the artist was, really great work you've done here, it also has, in my opinon, a middle eastern flair to it

Diggin' on the title. This piece sold , but if she ever goes to print i'll start calling her by her new name.
